Failure to provide the requisite data may result in certain features being restricted, unavailable, or unusable. For instance, withholding your address would render e-commerce transactions involving delivery impossible to complete.
Where you opt to provide any device permissions such as access to your contact list, photos, camera, location, microphone, SMS, storage, phone calls, and NFC, ZASHIT may retrieve, retain, and use the data obtained through such permissions.
You retain the right to revoke the aforementioned access by amending access permissions within your device's settings.
Through your use of our application or website, we collect information such as:
Details related to the services you access via the ZASHIT application, your interactions within the app, rewards claimed, and transaction-related information involving your use of our services or those offered through our partners. This includes the types of services you request, your selected method of payment, transaction amounts, and other related financial data. You also generate data through general interactions with ZASHIT, such as during customer support communications.
When you access our application or websites, we may log certain information, including but not limited to your IP address, browser type, mobile operating system, manufacturer and model of your device, geolocation data, preferred language, access times, and duration of use.
We shall retain the information shared with us in accordance with applicable laws, for a period no longer than is required for the purpose for which it was collected or as required under any applicable law. However, we may retain data related to you if we believe it may be necessary to prevent fraud or to enable us to exercise our legal rights and/or defend against legal claims or if required by law for other legitimate purposes. We may continue to retain your data in anonymised form for analytical and research purposes.

We may use data collection devices such as "cookies" on certain pages of the Application to help analyse our web page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. Cookies are small pieces of information saved by your browser onto your computer. Cookies are used to record various aspects of your visit and assist us to provide you with uninterrupted service. POP does not use cookies to save personal information.
We provide all users with the option to request the deletion of their account through the support section of the ZASHIT application. Upon receiving such a request, all information associated with the account—including but not limited to profile details, order history, and UPI information—will be de-linked.
There may be certain circumstances where we are unable to process account deletion, such as the presence of an outstanding dispute, suspected fraudulent transactions, or unresolved claims linked to your account. Once these issues are resolved, the relevant data will be promptly deleted and will no longer be retrievable.
We may continue to retain specific information if required for regulatory compliance, to serve legitimate business interests such as fraud prevention and user safety, or to meet legal and contractual obligations.
Additionally, you have the option to request account deactivation or archival. This will temporarily suspend your access to the ZASHIT application until you contact us at support@zashit.co and successfully request reactivation.
The use of our Services is available only to persons who can form a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information of children under the age of 18 years. If you have shared any personal information of children under the age of 18 years, you represent that you have the authority to do so and permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
ZASHIT maintains reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information you share with us. Whenever you access your account information, we provide the use of a secure server. Once your information is in our possession, we adhere to strict security protocols to guard against unauthorized access.
While we employ industry-standard measures, we acknowledge that no security system is entirely impenetrable. As part of our commitment to reasonable security practices, we conduct rigorous internal and external audits to ensure that appropriate encryption and controls are in place for both data in transit and data at rest within our network and servers.
Our databases are stored on servers protected by firewalls, and access to these servers is password-protected and strictly limited to authorized personnel. Additionally, when you log out of the app or access ZASHIT UPI from a new device, re-authentication is required via a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered contact.
To help keep your information safe, we strongly encourage you to safeguard your passwords, PINs, and other login credentials, and never share them with anyone.
Our Privacy Policy is subject to change at any time without notice. To make sure you are aware of any changes, please review this Privacy Policy periodically. These changes will be effective immediately on the users of our Services.
